(1) The date of creation has been changed to 2012 because the Author has confirmed the Work was created in 2012 rather than 2013. (2) Author and Claimant have been corrected to reflect Caleb Everitt (not work for hire) rather than Land Art & Design, LLC (work for hire). The reason for this change is that Mr. Everitt is the founder and owner of Land Art and Design ("Land"), a graphic design agency founded in or about 2012. At the time of filing of the original registration, it was believed that Mr. Everitt created the Work in his capacity as a representative of Land. Thus, the original application stated that the Author and Claimant were both Land (work for hire). However, upon further investigation, it has been determined that Mr. Everitt created the Work in his individual capacity, and not on behalf of Land. Therefore, the registration is being corrected to reflect that Mr. Everitt is the correct Author of the Work, the Work is not a Work for Hire, and Mr. Everitt was the proper Claimant as of the original date of registration.
